LASU Opens Applications for Students to Join Campus Digitisation Project

Lagos State University (LASU) has opened applications for undergraduate students interested in participating in a digitisation project under its Study Work Scheme.

According to the university, the selected students will assist in developing LASU’s Open Educational Resources (OER) Portal, a digital platform designed to enhance access to academic materials.

The project will involve converting and organising academic theses and related documents into digital formats. It will run from November 3 to November 15 2025, at the university’s Postgraduate School, with participants expected to work two to three hours daily.

The scheme is open to 300-level and above undergraduate students with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.0. Applicants must also demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and general internet use.

LASU said shortlisted applicants will be invited for interviews before final selection, and successful participants will receive stipends upon completion.

Applications are open from October 20 to 22, 2025, via the link: https://forms.gle/qz1Y7PTW4Hba1xT69.

The university described the initiative as a chance for students to gain hands-on digital experience while contributing to LASU’s academic development.
