The Lagos State University (LASU) and Babcock University have announced the commencement of the 2025/2026 academic session, outlining payment schedules and resumption arrangements for newly admitted students.
LASU, in a statement on Thursday, said the portal for school fees payment and bio-data registration for full-time undergraduates has been activated. It instructed newly admitted students, who have completed their admission process, to make all payments within the first two weeks of resumption, starting Monday, October 6 2025. It warned that defaulters may face penalties.
Students are to complete payments and registration through the university’s website at www.lasu.edu.ng.
Similarly, Babcock University announced that the resumption of 100-level and direct entry students will begin on October 27 2025. The schedule runs through October 29, with different schools assigned specific dates for arrival and registration between 9 am and 4 pm daily.
On arrival at the main campus, new students are expected to proceed to their halls of residence for room allocation before undergoing verification, medical screening, and general orientation at the university amphitheatre.
Both institutions urged students to comply with the guidelines to ensure a smooth start to the new academic session.
