Opay, a popular FinTech, has collaborated with the Lagos State University to sponsor 20 students’ education for 10 years with ₦60 million.
Following the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello appreciated Opay for considering LASU for the scholarship.
Elizabeth Wang, Opay’s Chief Executive Officer, described the partnership as Opay’s means of supporting youth empowerment.
She added that the company will also provide internship and employment opportunities for the students as part of its dedication to national development.
In a recent development, Opay bagged three awards at the 2025 BusinessDay Banks and Other Financial Institutions (BAFI) Awards.
