The Igbo Tribe is currently leading the ethnic literacy chart, with 74% of men and 73.1% of women being literate. The Edos have 74.2% educated men and 59.56% educated women, while the Yorubas have 70.3% educated men and 56.8% educated women.
With Ibibio women leading at 62.2%, the men have 57.7% of the educated population. The Ijaw and Hausa Tribes have 63.3% educated men and 47.7% women. Netizens have responded to the rating several times. One said, “Igbo should step up to above 95%; anything short of this is unacceptable.
