The Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) has partnered with the Ife Architecture Students’ Association, Obafemi Awolowo University, and Design Genre Limited to organise an architectural design competition.
Themed ‘Reimagining the Urban Block of Nigerian Cities,’ the competition aims to celebrate the 60th birthday of Anthony Okoye, the Founder/Managing Director of Design Genre Limited.
The competition is open to undergraduate and postgraduate architecture students in Nigerian universities to propose realistic design ideas that can fix the issues of urban living. The top three entries will win ₦1.5 million, ₦1 million, and ₦500,000, respectively.
