Redeemer’s University, Ede, Osun State, held its 19th Awards and Recognition Day on Thursday, September 25, 2025, to honour outstanding staff, students, and notable Nigerians. The event, held at the University Auditorium, also formed part of the activities leading up to the school’s 17th Convocation Ceremony.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shadrach Olufemi Akindele, in his keynote address, praised the awardees for their resilience, innovation, and dedication. He stressed that the university’s reputation is built on the achievements of its people.
“The Awards and Recognition Day reminds us that hard work, integrity, innovation, and commitment never go unnoticed,” he said to loud applause.
The ceremony, now a yearly tradition, has become a symbol of the institution’s culture of excellence and a call for staff and students to remain committed to academic and moral standards.
