Rivers State University (RSU) has released the cut-off marks for undergraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. The announcement guides aspiring candidates on the minimum scores required for admission into various faculties and departments.
According to the notice from the Registrar, Mrs Ibimonia B.S. Harry, programmes in Medicine and Surgery require the highest cut-off, with 71 for merit admission, while Law follows closely with 69. Other competitive courses include Nursing Sciences (66), Computer Engineering (55), and Broadcasting & Cinematography (56).
The cut-offs differ for merit, catchment area, and pre-degree categories, reflecting RSU’s efforts to balance academic standards with regional representation. Faculties covered include Accounting, Administration and Management Sciences, Agriculture, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Humanities, Medical Sciences, Communication and Media Studies, Education, Law, Sciences, and Social Sciences.
