Two brothers from Anambra State, Nigeria, have earned accolades after graduating with distinction from the University of Salford in Manchester, United Kingdom.
Engr. Chimmuanya Okwudili Ijezie and Chukwuebuka Okwudili Ijezie both completed their Master’s degrees with outstanding results—Chimmuanya in Artificial Intelligence and Chukwuebuka in Data Science—marking a proud moment for their family and state.
The brothers’ graduation ceremony took place on July 7, 2025, and was attended by their mother, Mrs. Martina Awele Ijezie. Engr. Chimmuanya Ijezie graduated with distinction in Artificial Intelligence, with a dissertation on the ethics of machine reasoning and the design of intelligent systems. His brother, Chukwuebuka Okwudili Ijezie, also earned distinction in Data Science, with a research project on predictive modelling and advanced analytics for decision-making. The Ijezie brothers are the sons of Chief Blackey Okwudili Ijezie, FCA (Ogbuefi Ezeanaekwu) from Umuokpanilo Village, Uruokpala, Egbema Ozubulu in Ekwusigo LGA of Anambra State.
