The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) has started building six multidisciplinary research laboratories in Nigeria.
Sonny Echono, TETFund’s Executive Secretary, announced that four of the laboratories are under construction in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Kano. At the same time, the other two will be built before the end of the year. The executive secretary noted that the laboratories will allow researchers to conduct all types of research locally without having to send their samples abroad for analysis.
He added that after inaugurating some projects on Thursday, August 14, 2025, TETFund will inaugurate more projects in Osun State before the end of the month.
