Prof. Rufai Yusuf Ahmad, Registrar and CEO of the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria (MRTBN)
The Registrar and CEO of the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria (MRTBN), Prof. Rufai Yusuf Ahmad, has hailed the University of Ilorin as a “bastion of discipline and excellence,” urging other institutions to emulate its standards.
Prof. Ahmad made the remarks on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, during the induction of the University’s second cohort of physiotherapists.
He expressed admiration for the orderly conduct of students at UNILORIN’s new Motor Park, noting their ability to form long, organised queues—a rare display of discipline among youths.
He also commended the timely commencement of the induction programme, which began exactly as scheduled, in contrast to his experiences at other events where delays are common.
“The conduct of both students and staff at UNILORIN gives hope for a better future,” he said, praising the University’s consistent enforcement of discipline and operational excellence.
Prof. Ahmad called on other universities and organisations across Nigeria to adopt similar practices, stressing that such commitment to order and professionalism is key to national progress and institutional success.
