The Nnamdi Azikiwe University Alumni Association (UNIZIK Alumni) has announced plans to hold its 2025 national convention in Lagos from October 24 to 26 at the Banquet Hall of Welcome Centre Hotels.
The three-day event, themed “The Future is Now: Harnessing Emerging Trends for Impact,” aims to strengthen alumni networks, promote mentorship and explore new opportunities for national development.
Dr. (Chief) Elizabeth Ifeyinwa Jibunoh, founder of the Strength of Women Initiative (SOWi), will deliver the keynote lecture titled “Empowering the Next Generation: Alumni Mentorship and Leadership.” She will be joined by business strategist Ezekiel Yusuf and legal scholar Barr. Chukwuneke Anagbogu as discussants.
The event will be chaired by Sir (Pharm.) Nnamdi Obi, Chairman of Embassy Pharmaceuticals, with Chief Dr Chidi Anyaegbu, CON, of CHISCO Group as Special Guest of Honour. Planning Committee Chairman, Mr Buchi Ochiba, said the convention will provide a platform for collaboration and reflection.
