Akpabio Praises 11-Year-Old Nigerian Prodigy

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has celebrated 11-year-old Cara Victor Antai for winning a bronze medal at the Global Final 2 competition held at the University of Surrey in the UK.

Welcoming her to his home in Ukana, Akwa Ibom State, Akpabio praised her talent and hard work, saying that Nigerian youths can achieve global success if the government provides them with proper support.

The competition had over 20,000 participants from 69 countries who competed in areas such as reading, listening, writing, and speaking. Cara also received a special award as “Best in Charisma.”

Akpabio commended her parents for supporting her gifts and encouraged Cara to keep aiming for excellence. The Senate President noted that Cara’s success at the global competition shows that it is important for government at all levels to invest in creating opportunities that will make citizens excel. He challenged other Nigerians to emulate Cara’s discipline and exceptional spirit, as this will ensure that many more Nigerians can succeed on the world stage.

He added that, on his part, as the Senate President, he will continue to support young Nigerians with the talent and abilities to make the country proud in their respective fields of endeavour.
