The Jigawa State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has launched a manhunt for attackers who invaded a rented male hostel belonging to students of Bilyaminu Usman Polytechnic (BUPoly) in Hadejia, located along the Hadejia-Malam-Madori road.
Recall that on Thursday, a rented off-campus male hostel, isolated not far from BUPoly, housing students of the institution, was attacked by suspected criminals wielding dangerous local knives.
The assailants attacked the students, robbing them of their phones and other valuable items, leaving many frightened in the area.
However, in an interview on Sunday, the spokesperson of the Jigawa NSCDC Command, ASC Badaruddeen Tijjani, confirmed that the Agency has already launched a manhunt for the attackers.
