Kwara Introduces AI to Modernise Teaching

Kwara State has begun integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into public secondary schools as part of efforts to modernise learning.

The state government on Thursday launched a pilot training for selected teachers in Ilorin, describing the initiative as a step towards preparing students for a digital future.

Education Commissioner Lawal Olohungbebe stated that the move was central to ongoing reforms aimed at enhancing the quality of teaching.

Officials said the programme reflects Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s broader investment in education. Participants called for more teachers across the state to benefit from the training.
