Promasidor Nigeria has restated its commitment to education and youth empowerment through its flagship career guidance initiative, Harness Your Dream, held recently in Lagos.
The programme, aimed at helping junior secondary school students make informed career choices, brought together government officials, educators, and industry professionals for a day of mentorship and motivation.
Representing the Lagos State First Lady, Dr Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, Mrs Anike Adekanye commended Promasidor for sustaining an initiative that aligns with the state’s focus on youth empowerment and education. She urged students to remain disciplined and make thoughtful career choices that shape their future.
Promasidor Nigeria’s Chief Executive Officer, François Gillet, said the company sees education as a catalyst for social and economic development. “Through Harness Your Dream, we aim to help young people find clarity and confidence to pursue careers aligned with their passions,” he said.
The Head of Regulatory and Government Affairs, Dr Chinenyem Obasi-Obonga, added that the programme supports the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal on quality education and the Lagos State THEMES+ agenda.
Students engaged in mentoring sessions, interactive games, and quizzes led by Promasidor executives and guest facilitators, as the company reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing the next generation of Nigerian innovators and leaders.
