UBEC Hosts North-East Schools’ Sports Games in Yola
The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) has advanced its grassroots sports agenda with the successful staging of the North-East Basic Education Schools Sports (BESS) Games in Yola, Adamawa state. The weeklong competition, held from August 25 to 31, 2025, featured participants from Adamawa, Borno, Gombe, Bauchi, Yobe, and Taraba States. Adamawa State dominated the tournament,
