Group Calls for Education Minister’s Resignation Over JAMB UTME Mass Failure Remarks
On Thursday, May 8, 2025, the advocacy group Not Too Young to Perform (NTYTP) demanded the resignation of Nigeria’s Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, following his comments on the recent mass failure in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Dr Alausa remarked that the high failure rate in the UTME indicated the effectiveness
