Campus Reporter Elected Students’ Council Speaker
Tijani Abdulkareem, the Osun Defender’s campus reporter, has been elected as the speaker of the Students’ Representative Council in the Faculty of Education at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife. In the election supervised by Comrade Nasir Hameed, the head of the faculty’s electoral committee, Abdulkareem received 21 votes, while his opposition candidate received eight votes.
