Virginia Tech Ranks Among Top Universities for U.S. Patents
Virginia Tech has earned a spot on the National Academy of Inventors’ 2024 list of top patent-producing universities, ranking No. 73 worldwide and No. 45 among U.S. institutions. The annual ranking highlights universities that were granted the most U.S. utility patents in a calendar year, based on data from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
