Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has reappointed three directors to head key institutes in the university.
Prof Risikat Dauda of the Department of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences, will continue as Director of the Distance Learning Institute (DLI) from August 16, 2025, to August 15, 2027. Prof. Obichere Iwuagwu of the Department of History and Strategic Studies, Faculty of Arts, was reappointed Director of the Confucius Institute (CI), effective September 1, 2025, for a term of two years, until August 31, 2027.
Prof Abigail Ogwezzy-Ndisika of the Faculty of Mass Communication and Media Studies will serve as Director of the Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2027.
The Vice-Chancellor, Ogunsola, on behalf of the Senate, staff, and students, congratulated the reappointed directors and wished them success in their renewed tenure.
