The 2025 Public Lecture of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) Professorial Chair in Accounting will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the J.F. Ade-Ajayi (Main) Auditorium, University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka.
Organised by the UNILAG Office of Advancement, the Board of Trustees of the ICAN Professorial Chair in Accounting, and the Department of Accounting, the event will explore the theme: “Embracing the Future: Powering a New Era of Accounting Education and Practice.” The lecture will be delivered by Professor Olusegun Vincent, FCA, of Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos and chaired by the 61st ICAN President, Dr Haruna Nma Yahaya, MNI, FCA. Members of the university community and the general public are invited to attend.
