The Vice-Chancellor of Ajayi Crowther University, Prof. Timothy Abiodun Adebayo, has expressed great sadness over the death of Dr Tolulope Charles Adeyeye, a lecturer in the Faculty of Management Sciences. Dr Adeyeye died on Monday, June 30, 2025.
Prof. Adebayo described him as a dedicated and hardworking teacher who added much value to the university. He praised Dr Adeyeye for his honesty, excellence, and loyalty, saying he was a good example to others and a true ambassador of the school.
Dr Adeyeye joined the university in 2007 and held several important roles. He was a former student and staff adviser, Coordinator of the MBA programme, Chairman of the Department’s NUC Accreditation Committee, and a member of the ACU Webometrics team. He was a native of Ondo town in Ondo State. The Vice-Chancellor prayed for the soul of the deceased to rest in peace and asked God to comfort their family, friends, and the university community.
