The Class of 1975 from Atakumosa High School, Osu, Osun State, has celebrated their 50th graduation anniversary with a promise to keep supporting each other globally. The celebration took place on the school grounds and brought together many old students, their families, and friends. As part of the event, the group unveiled three key projects: beautification of the school compound, a newly built gate with a security house, and fencing of the school’s front area.
Chairperson and former Senior Girl, Mrs. Kofoworola Ogunbiyi-Ajelabi, expressed joy over the reunion and praised the group’s achievements across different careers both in Nigeria and abroad. She noted that the group started reconnecting in 2016 and has remained united since then. Their strong bond and commitment to the school’s progress led to the successful execution of school projects and regular reunions about 50 years after their graduation.
