Babcock University Vice-Chancellor Praises JAMB Registrar

The Vice-Chancellor of Backcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Prof Ademola Tayo, has ranked Prof Ishaq Oloyede’s administration in JAMB highly on account of his adherence to policies capable of positively impacting the nation’s education.

Tayo disclosed this during the second edition of the combined Ogun and Oyo State Coordinators’ Meeting with Admission Officers of institutions in both states held at Babcock University Guest House, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State.

According to the Vice-Chancellor, the meeting was crucial as the Admission Officers are to implement the policy decisions reached by stakeholders at the recently concluded 2025 UTME Policy Meeting on Admission in Abuja.  He added that the training would equip them to uphold integrity, navigate CAPS effectively, and ensure that every candidate is treated fairly, thereby safeguarding the reputation of their chosen institutions and sustaining public trust in the admission process.

Tayo further commended the Oloyede-led administration for investing in merit and institutional excellence by awarding a total of N710 million via UTME, the National Tertiary Admissions Performance Merit (NATAP-M) Awards to six top-performing institutions at the 2025 Policy Meeting.
