Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) congratulated Nigerian children on the occasion of Children’s Day 2025, urging them to remain hopeful and steadfast in pursuit of a brighter future.
This was stated in a message issued by his Media Office and made available to reporters on Tuesday in Ibadan.
Senator Alli lauded the resilience, talents, and aspirations of Nigerian children, describing them as the nation’s future. He expressed gratitude to parents, teachers, and caregivers who continue to nurture and support children in realising their potential.
The lawmaker praised the administration of President Bola Tinubu for its commitment to improving the welfare of children through impactful policies and initiatives.
He highlighted increased budgetary allocations for education and child healthcare, as well as ongoing efforts to ensure access to quality education for all Nigerian children.
Senator Alli assured children of his continued advocacy for policies that protect their rights, provide quality education, and create a safe and enabling environment for their development.
He encouraged children to remain focused on their dreams, develop academically, morally, and socially, and embrace values that would make them responsible citizens.
The senator called on all stakeholders, including parents, teachers, community leaders, and government agencies, to renew their commitment to protecting children’s rights and to provide the necessary support and opportunities for them to thrive.
“On this special day, I celebrate our children, the pride and future of Nigeria. I commend the efforts of President Bola Tinubu’s administration in championing policies that safeguard their welfare,” he said.
