Chrisland University to Host Second Edition of Law Dinner

Chrisland Law dinner

Chrisland University has announced plans to host the second edition of its Law Dinner on Friday, June 13, at 4:00 p.m. at the central marquee on campus. The event aims to promote legal excellence and foster professional mentorship among law students.

The dinner will bring together students, legal practitioners, academics, and members of the judiciary to expose students to the traditions and expectations of the legal profession beyond classroom learning.

Key highlights include a keynote address by a prominent legal figure, goodwill messages, a mock trial demonstration by students, and the presentation of awards to outstanding individuals.

Speaking on the significance of the event, Dr Kayode Akinsola, Dean of the College of Law, described it as “an essential platform to expose students to the traditions and expectations of the legal profession, beyond classroom learning.”

Organised under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Professor Oyedunni Sola Arulogun, the dinner forms part of the university’s broader efforts to foster holistic education, character development, and academic distinction.

The second edition is expected to surpass the success of the maiden edition and reinforce Chrisland University’s reputation as a centre of legal education in Nigeria.
