The Government of Colombia, through ICETEX, has announced the opening of applications for the 2025 Colombia Government Scholarship, offering fully funded opportunities for international students to study in the country.
The scholarship is designed for individuals seeking to pursue Master’s, Specialisation, or PhD programs at top Colombian institutions.
Eligible candidates from around the world are invited to apply, with the scholarship covering full tuition fees, living expenses, health insurance, and other essential academic needs.
The initiative aims to enhance global educational exchange and provide international students with access to Colombia’s world-class academic institutions.
Students will benefit from the diverse cultural environment in Colombia while gaining exposure to leading experts in their respective fields.
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must not be Colombian nationals or permanent residents, hold an undergraduate degree, and have a minimum GPA of 4.0 out of 5.0. Applicants must also be under the age of 50 and have never received ICETEX’s Beca Colombia funding.
The scholarship covers all tuition fees, a monthly stipend, medical insurance, academic supplies, and visa costs.
Additionally, it supports unforeseen expenses, ensuring a smooth and successful study experience in Colombia.
Interested applicants can submit their applications online, along with the required documents, including a valid passport, CV, academic transcripts, and a statement of purpose. The deadline for submissions is June 13, 2025.
