DBD Academy Partners with UNILAG to Train Doctors

The D’BusinessDoctor (DBD) Mentorship Academy, in partnership with KB Klub, College of Medicine, University of Lagos (UNILAG), has graduated a new cohort of healthcare practitioners who will combine clinical excellence with business intelligence to sustain the nation’s health sector.

The graduation ceremony, held in Lagos, marked the conclusion of a 12-week intensive programme designed to equip medical doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare workers with leadership, management, and entrepreneurial skills often lacking in conventional medical training.

Founded by Dr Ademolu Owoyele, a healthcare business consultant, also known as D’BusinessDoctor, the Academy was established to “open the eyes of young healthcare professionals to the business side of medicine,” Owoyele said.

He expressed confidence in the resilience and creativity of the new graduates, stating that their commitment to growth reflects the Academy’s vision of raising professionals who not only heal but also build.
