The Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun (FUHSI), has announced the appointment of its first set of professors, marking a milestone in the institution’s academic development.
According to the University’s Appointment and Promotion Committee, the newly promoted scholars are Professor S.O. Jimoh, Professor A.K. Salau, and Professor E.M. Balogun.
Vice-Chancellor, Professor Akeem Lasisi, congratulated the new professors on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Management, staff, and students, describing the development as a reflection of FUHSI’s growing commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and community service.
He said the appointments signal the University’s steady progress toward building a strong academic foundation and promoting innovation in health sciences education.
