The United Kingdom chapter of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Alumni Association has reaffirmed its commitment to the growth of its alma mater after successfully hosting its 12th Grand Reunion.
The event, tagged Essex 2025, was held on September 6 at the New Windmill Hall, Upminster, and drew alumni from across the globe through both physical and virtual participation.
Distinguished guests at the colourful gathering included the Global President of the Alumni Association, Ambassador Bolaji Gbadamosi; Global Icon and Executive Director of the Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute (NSPRI), Prof. Lateef Sanni; and former President of the Association, Ambassador Olusola Tobun.
Organisers described the reunion as a celebration of heritage, unity, and service, while also renewing the alumni’s pledge to support FUNAAB’s development. The association said the gathering served as a reminder of shared memories and the collective responsibility of graduates to contribute to the university’s continued progress.
