The ‘MTN Go-Mad Campus Invasion’ programme has made a stop at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), with students winning big.
The three-day event, which aimed at inspiring, connecting and empowering young Nigerians with digital tools, featured gaming competitions, Cinema experiences, as well as surprise live performances. However, the most significant moment was the gift of a black-coloured Changan ALS-VIN car to a 500-level student of Biochemistry, Nduka Chidera Judith.
Speaking on the essence of the event, Femi Adesina, Youth Segment Manager for MTN Telecom Plc, described it as a dynamic and engaging function that brings MTN’s “Go make difference” campaign directly to the nation’s tertiary institutions. According to Adesina, MTN as an organisation is committed to supporting the nation in youth empowerment.
