Emmanuel Aanu Ajayi, a student of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Kwara State University (KWASU), won First Place at the Digital for All Challenge 2.0 National Finals, held on September 30, 2025, in Abuja.
Ajayi secured the national title after earlier victories at the state and regional levels. The competition, regarded as Nigeria’s leading digital skilling initiative, was organised by Tech4Dev in partnership with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
The programme equips young people and civil servants with skills in software development, digital marketing, data analysis, product design, and cybersecurity.
KWASU management stated that Ajayi’s achievement reflects the university’s commitment to producing digitally competent graduates and brings pride to his department, the institution, and Kwara State.
