LASU Moves Large Classes Online

Lagos State University (LASU) has announced that all courses with over 400 registered students will now be conducted online to address classroom space limitations and advance its digital learning agenda.

The university management, in a statement on Tuesday, said the measure was necessitated by inadequate lecture hall capacity and aligns with LASU’s ongoing efforts to integrate technology into teaching and learning.

Lecturers handling large-capacity courses have been directed to organise their lectures, tutorials, and assessments through the institution’s approved virtual platforms. Affected students are expected to participate actively and comply with all online learning regulations.

Deans of Faculties and Schools have also been instructed to ensure strict compliance and provide oversight for smooth implementation.

The management appreciated the cooperation of staff and students, assuring its commitment to innovative, inclusive and globally competitive academic delivery.
