The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has rejected students’ requests for monthly upkeep. The affected students reported that their dashboard marked “Rejected” despite months of successful payments.
Akeel Sanni, representing the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Kaduna, students posted on X, “Dear @NELFUND…We have been beneficiaries of NELFund for nearly eight months. We were surprised to see that our recent upkeep request was rejected. We still have at least three to four months of upkeep remaining…Could you kindly clarify the reason for this rejection?”
While NELFUND is yet to address the situation, students are calling for transparency, clarification, and resolution to ensure no beneficiary lacks upkeep.
