Nigeria, South Korea Reaffirm Education Project Partnership

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) have reaffirmed their commitment to continuing their collaboration following the successful completion of the smart education project.

The project targeted six states in Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory, Cross River, Bauchi, Kano, Ekiti, and Nasarawa.

Speaking about the project, Eunsub Kim, KOICA’s Country Director, represented by David Nkwa, said the project uses student-centred learning. Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, described the project as a proof of concept of digital transformation in basic education.
