The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State, has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to run new courses.
The degree courses, which include economics, banking and finance, business administration, and a master’s agroecology, were approved on Monday, October 13, 2025.
Mr Olasunkanmi Olajide, the acting head of the public relations department, said the department will soon start admitting students into the College of Entrepreneurial and Development Studies (COLENDS) for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Reports show that FUNAAB once ran the newly introduced courses before Adamu Adamu, the former education minister, cancelled them in 2018.
