The National Universities Commission has given Governor Hope Uzodinma a certificate of recognition for the establishment of the University of Innovation, Science and Technology, Omumma, Imo State.
Receiving the certificate, Uzodinma described it as a moment of honour for the institution’s management and staff.
He added that the institution will give youth better access to tertiary education, make them employers and job creators, and equip them to support economic growth. The governor stressed that the new university will partner with Imo Digital City and the University of Berkeley, California, to design its curriculum
