The Dr Olaolu Mudasiru Foundation (DOMF) has marked its first anniversary with a celebration of impactful initiatives in education, entrepreneurship, and the arts. Founded in memory of the late philanthropist and investment banker, Dr Olaolu Mudasiru—fondly known as Dr Bob, the Foundation is dedicated to empowering underserved Nigerians and promoting societal growth.
Since its launch on July 14, 2024, DOMF has awarded scholarships to promising students, including Miss Hannah Mafe of Anglican Communion Church of The Nativity, Parkview Estate, and Master Eniolaoluwa Sohe and Abdulsamad Anas of the Nigerian Military School. These beneficiaries are now pursuing their academic dreams with the Foundation’s backing.
“The Dr Olaolu Mudasiru Foundation is a living tribute to a man whose life exemplified humility and generosity,” said Mr. Ohis Ohiwerei, Chairman of the Foundation. “In just one year, we have provided young people with the tools they need to shape their futures.” DOMF’s inauguration in 2024 featured a charity art exhibition at LH Privie, Ikoyi, hosted by Hourglass Gallery. The event celebrated Dr Bob’s love for the arts and raised funds for the Foundation’s projects.
Family, friends, and partners, including his daughter, Ms. Zahrah Mudasiru, and brothers, Mr. Sola and Mr. Tolu Mudasiru, have continued to support DOMF’s mission. With a focus on scholarships, entrepreneurship training, and promoting emerging artists, the Foundation says it is poised to expand its reach in the coming years.
