Joy filled Agbado in Ogun State as more than 600 pupils received free school supplies through Project Equip by OPay, a partnership between OPay and REEL Foundation. The initiative, which was themed “Empowering Education and Learning for Pupils in Ifo LGA”.

The pupils were given whole school packs containing branded bags, sandals, notebooks, socks, and stationery. Major stakeholders within the community, including community leaders, teachers, and parents, came out to witness the event, and they commended the donors for easing the burden on families and encouraging learning in underserved areas.

Founder of REEL Foundation, Ajoke Adeola, said the effort was to ensure that no child is left behind simply because of a lack of basic materials. According to her, education is a powerful equaliser, and little things like school bags or writing tools can determine whether children succeed or struggle.

The initiative is seen as a significant step in supporting education and development in rural communities.
