Isa Pantami, former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, has called on President Bola Tinubu to reward Nafisa Abdullah Aminu, a 17-year-old student, who won a global English competition. Pantami made a Facebook post on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, saying Aminu’s success is linked to her natural talent, dedication, and discipline.
The ex-minister further attributed her win to the support she received from her parents and school. He mentioned that the federal government should honour Aminu as it did the Super Falcons and D’Tigress. In addition, he said Aminu’s English teacher deserves to be rewarded.
