The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has inaugurated its Board of Trustees (BoT), appointing Prince Tonye Princewill as chairman.
Other members of the four-year tenure include Dr. Patterson Ogon, Honourable Anayo E. Nwonu, Mr. Samson Akpibere, Mr. Austin Okeze, and Ms. Chiadikobi Emmanuella-King. Senator Darlington Nwokocha, the National President of the Alumni Association, stated that the board inauguration serves as a “moral compass, legal backbone, and strategic guardian of our Association’s long-term vision.”
Responding to the appointment, Princewill said the board is there to serve as partners to transform the association. He added that the board will work closely with the National Executive Committee to implement its goals.
