Senegal, Baze University Move to Strengthen Education Ties

Baze University, Abuja, hosted the Senegalese Ambassador to Nigeria, Nicolas Auguste Nyouky, on a visit aimed at strengthening educational and cultural ties between the two countries.

The Ambassador was welcomed by the university’s Founder and Chancellor, Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed, Vice Chancellor Prof. Jamila Shu’ara, Registrar, and other top officials.

During the meeting, both parties explored potential partnerships in education, research, and healthcare. They agreed that Baze University, based on its strength and reputation, could serve as a bridge for stronger academic and cultural exchange between Nigeria and Senegal.

After the meeting, Ambassador Nyouky was taking a tour around the Baze University Hospital. He praised the hospital management for the investment in modern facilities and commitment to providing quality healthcare for Nigerians and the broader African community.

According to the institution, the visit is part of Baze University’s broader internationalisation agenda to connect with global partners and create more opportunities for students and staff.
