Sport University has announced that the 2025 academic session will begin on Tuesday, September 30. The university’s management said preparations have been completed to accommodate students’ academic and sporting activities.
In a statement, Vice Chancellor Dr Peter Okey Ejikeme urged students to plan their travel carefully, advising them to arrive before 5 p.m. and avoid night travel due to unpredictable road conditions. He also reminded students to bring all items necessary for their comfort and studies.
Security checks will be conducted on arrival, and prohibited items will be confiscated. Students are required to pay all fees before the start of the semester, although payment will also be accepted on the first day. A clearance exercise will be conducted, during which evidence of payment will be verified and clearance cards issued to secure hostel accommodation.
Dr Ejikeme welcomed both returning and new students, expressing excitement about the year ahead. “We are looking forward to a fantastic year of learning, growth and adventure together,” he said.
The university emphasised that these measures are aimed at ensuring a smooth and safe start to the new academic session for all students.
