Over 200 Federal Institution Establishment Bills Abandoned
Following the directive of the federal government to halt the establishment of federal tertiary institutions, over 200 bills seeking approval from the House of Senate and Representatives will now be abandoned. The ban decision was endorsed on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Bola Tinubu in Abuja.
