Imo Government Bans Primary, JSS 3 Graduation
The Imo State Government has released a memo halting the graduation ceremonies of kindergarten, nursery, and Junior Secondary School (JSS) 3 students. The memo, signed by Prof. Bernard Ikegwuoha, the state’s commissioner for education, and addressed to parents, guardians, and stakeholders, also specified that textbook use will now be extended from one to four years.
