AAU Vice Chancellor Selection Faces Petitions, Growing Tensions
The process of appointing a substantive Vice Chancellor for Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, has been thrown into controversy following a series of petitions challenging the names of three candidates recommended by the Governing Council. The selection began after Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, inaugurated a new council led by Chief Dan Orbih in 2024.
