Taraki Chief Donates 30,000 Notebooks

- Ebidowei of Taraki Kingdom, High Chief Maxwell Diffre, donates 30,000 Notebooks to Pupils in Patani

The Ebidowei of Taraki Kingdom, High Chief Maxwell Diffre, has donated 30,000 notebooks to pupils and students in government schools across Patani Local Government Area.

The distribution, held at the Council Secretariat on Thursday, marked the fourth edition of his annual educational support programme. The event drew community leaders, government officials, and excited schoolchildren.

Chief Diffre said the gesture was his way of giving back to society while supporting Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda, which prioritises education and human capital development. He recalled that similar interventions shaped his own childhood and set the foundation for him to excel in his career. He pledged to sustain the initiative because, in his view, consistent investment in education is crucial to securing the future of the Niger Delta youth.

Patani Local Government Chairman, Hon. Isaac Aguanah, praised Chief Diffre’s commitment to educational development. He described him as a true partner in grassroots development and that his support continues to uplift local communities.
