President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has told Nigerian graduates to key into the opportunities his government is opening through the Renewed Hope Agenda. He said this during the 42nd convocation and 50th anniversary of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, where he was represented by the Minister of State for Education, Prof. Suwaiba Ahmad.
According to Tinubu, the Renewed Hope Agenda is meant to fix major problems in the country and open new doors in different sectors of the economy. He said graduates and researchers have a significant role to play in these plans and must use their knowledge to move Nigeria forward.
The President pointed to student loans, better funding for research, medical education, and infrastructure as clear signs of his government’s commitment. He also mentioned ongoing road projects, such as the Sokoto–Gusau–Funtua–Zaria and Sokoto–Badagry highways, which will facilitate trade and movement.
