UBEC Trains Master Trainers to Enhance Education Quality in Nigeria

The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) has organised a three-day training workshop in Lafia, Nasarawa State, to boost the education standards in Nigeria.

The workshop, which focused on E-Quality Assurance, was attended by Master Trainers from various regions to strengthen their capacity to ensure effective quality assurance practices in schools.

The event, which took place from April 22 to 24, 2025, was led by UBEC’s Special Assistant on Technical Quality Assurance, Abiola Sarki Ayeni, on behalf of the Executive Secretary, Aisha Garba.

It is part of the Commission’s ongoing efforts to improve education by promoting professional development for educators and creating a community dedicated to monitoring and evaluating schools.

This training is designed to empower Master Trainers, who will play a crucial role in improving the quality of education in their respective states.

UBEC remains committed to ensuring improved learning outcomes for Nigerian students, particularly at the basic education level.
