The alumni association of the University of Lagos has celebrated its 55th anniversary.
The celebration was held on Friday, October 17, 2025, with an award ceremony, dinner, and announcement of key projects.
Some of the projects include the Erastus Akingbola Postgraduate Hall, a three-storey building donated by Dr Erastus Akingbola, the Alumni Garden at the College of Medicine, and the Alumni Shopping Complex opposite Moremi Cab Shuttle Park.
Ifeoluwa Oyedele, the President of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Alumni Association, noted that the association has made tremendous progress and contributed massively to the institution’s development.
The president mentioned that other contributions include a customised web and mobile application for members of the alumni association.
